Daniel Peters was born in Maine where he was raised by his parents, whom he shared with his sister, brother, dog and cats.
Daniel attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he was first inspired by seeing the work of Sandy Skoglund and Pete Turner. He studied camera operations with b/w films, working with 35mm, digital single-lens reflex, view, and Kodak Brownie cameras. Daniel completed his BFA at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2015.
Since graduating, Daniel has worked as a freelance photographer doing contractual photo assignments with a company. My work has been exhibited at varies galleries in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Washington D.C. and New York.
During free time, Daniel serves as a volunteer tour guide at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston or hike in deep woods.
